I teach Sunday school, so I can relate to this ad in the Onion. I don't read the onion, it was left abandoned, and I saw this picture. I don't read newspapers at all really. I think it is funny though, even for a confirmed evangelical Christian like myself.

I have seen children professing Jesus, being baptized, and having NO idea, beyond memorizing the formula, what redemption, hell, justification of even sacrifice is.  They are still trying to figure out how Jesus got into their heart without killing them.  So when I saw this shirt, I nearly choked.  Good joke.  100% T-Shirt too.
